YES, people have pet rats!  They are cool pets, very smart, always "up" for fun and playtime, even if you wake them up. I don't know about the fuzzy hair, but maybe someone else knows more about the different breeds of rats.  I have 4 pink eyed whites (albinos) that are brothers and they are hilarious.  Love to explore when I give them some run time in a safe area, and they come when I call them!!
